Teach the AI to draft replies your way

Open this in Talisk HQ

Reply Rules let the assistant pre-draft replies for specific kinds of email:

  1. Go to Settings › AI Settings and, under Reply Rules, click + New Rule.
  2. Name the rule and set its conditions (Subject contains, Sender contains, Body contains) so it matches the right emails. Turn on Auto-draft on arrival to have TALISK_HQ draft a reply as those emails land.
  3. Click ✦ Learn from my replies to teach the rule your voice from your past sent replies.

When an email matches, TALISK_HQ writes a draft reply in your voice, pulling in anything relevant from your Knowledge Library (business brief, FAQs). The draft waits for you: open it, edit if needed, and send. TALISK_HQ never sends a reply automatically; every draft is a suggestion you approve.

To give drafts the facts about your business, let TALISK_HQ read your website. Go to Settings › AI Settings, enter your address under Build from your website, and click Build from website. TALISK_HQ reads your public pages and suggests a business brief and FAQs; nothing is used until you review it and save it to your Knowledge Library. Setup also asks for your website when you name your business: it is optional, and an address entered there starts the same scan, so its suggestions are ready when you open AI mail setup.

Each email account has its own Knowledge Library. The brief, FAQs and documents you save belong to the account named at the top of Settings › AI Settings, so a customer inbox and a staff inbox can draft from different facts. To edit another account's library, press Switch account at the top of the tab, which opens the account list in the sidebar. To copy one account's training to another, use Export or import AI training for this account: click Export AI training on the first account, switch, then click Import AI training on the second and pick the file. TALISK_HQ adds the file's reply rules, library, filtered senders, instructions and live context; nothing already there is removed, and imported rules start with automatic sending off. Choose Import, keep my writing style or Import and replace my writing style.

Deleting an FAQ or reference doc asks first and names it. The AI stops using it when it drafts replies from that account; your reply rules are not changed.

To have TALISK_HQ propose rules for you, click ✦ Suggest from my inbox under Reply Rules. It reads your recent incoming mail and suggests up to three rules for the kinds of email you get most often. Adjust a suggestion's name or conditions if you like, then click Add rule on the ones you want. Added rules start with auto-draft off; open one to turn it on. The same suggestions appear at the last step of AI mail setup.

A rule with no conditions never matches; set one rule as the Default to catch everything else.

Good to know: Auto-draft always produces a suggestion for you to review: Talisk never sends a reply on its own, so a drafted reply waits in your drafts until you send it. For matching emails, a rule's learned style is layered on top of your global style: the global profile stays the baseline voice and the rule's playbook refines it, winning where the two conflict. Drafts also study your own past replies to similar emails so they sound like you, not like an AI.
