Undo sending an email
When you press Send, TALISK_HQ holds the message for a few seconds before it leaves. A Sending email… notice appears at the bottom of the screen with an Undo button. Press Undo before the notice runs out and the message is not sent.
This works for every message you send from TALISK_HQ, on a computer or on your phone: a new message, a reply, a forward, and a draft you opened from Drafts. On the phone, the Send button on a draft reply in a conversation has the same Undo. Missed the notice? While the message is still waiting, Undo is also in the Outbox, on a computer and on the phone.
What Undo gives you back
Your message comes straight back into the composer, exactly as it was: the recipients, the subject, the text and any files you attached. A reply comes back on its conversation. Edit it and send again, or close it to keep it as a draft.
If you have already started writing something else, the undone message is saved to Drafts instead, so nothing is lost. A draft you opened from Drafts goes back there untouched.
If you press Undo a moment too late, TALISK_HQ says so: Too late to cancel: your email was already sent.
Change how long you have
Go to Settings, the Email tab, and choose Undo Delay. Pick a longer delay for more time to change your mind, or Off to send immediately with no undo.
The delay is kept on each device. The phone has no setting for it, so a phone gives you 5 seconds.
Send from the keyboard
Press Cmd+Enter on a Mac or Ctrl+Enter on Windows to send from anywhere in the composer. It goes through the same undo window as the Send button.
Sending without a subject
A subject is optional. If you send a message with an empty subject, TALISK_HQ asks Send without a subject? first. Choose Send to send it as it is, or Add a subject to go back and add one.
If a send fails
If your mail provider refuses the message after the undo window, TALISK_HQ tells you, and your message is kept as a draft so you can try again.
